Chavez has joined the Los Angeles, California office as Senior Counsel in the firm’s Cal/OSHA and California Labor and Employment practices. She is in her seventh year of practice and brings her experience to the firm’s expanding California team.

Now we are thrilled to welcome Andrea, who had been Rachel’s top deputy at their prior firm.”
“Andrea is integral to our firm’s commitment to a strong and vibrant California practice,” Kara Maciel, Co-Founder and Chair of the Firm’s Labor and Employment Practice says. “Her experience with the complex California landscape that employers operating there have to navigate is so valuable. She is a terrific member of our team, and we are thrilled to have her as a steward for our California Practice.”
Having practiced alongside Ms. Chavez at their previous firm, California Practice Chair Rachel Conn adds, “Andrea has incredible expertise in Cal/OSHA and California labor and employment law. She. is a trusted advisor to our clients, who are always excited to work with her.”
Ms. Chavez is equally excited to be a part of the CMC team.
“CMC has a reputation among the very best OSHA defense firms in the nation. They are known for developing high-level strategies for their clients and engaging meaningfully in the rulemaking process. I want to be a part of that. I am looking forward to working with the dynamic team at CMC.”
